The Five-Second Parking Experience
The Five-Second Parking Experience
Sometimes the smallest interaction makes the biggest impression.
Parking professionals have hundreds of interactions that may last only a few seconds.
“Where can I park?”
“Why did I get this citation?”
“Is this lot full?”
“Can you help me?”
To us, it may be the 50th parking question we've answered that day.
To that person, it's their first interaction with us.
That's worth remembering.
A smile. A clear answer. Walking someone toward where they need to go. Explaining a rule instead of simply repeating it. Taking an extra few seconds to solve the problem.
None of these things require a new technology, a larger budget, or another policy.
They require something much simpler:
Intentional service.
The next time someone approaches you with a parking question, remember that you may have only five seconds to shape how they view your organization.
Make those five seconds count.
Park Positive. Impact Lives.
